A CAR park in Oxfordshire has been closed for filming.
Culham Lock Car Park, near Abingdon, will be closed to the public from today until Tuesday October 5.
The space will be used by Narrow Mark Films Ltd – a subset of Warner Brothers productions.
It is unclear what production the company is filming for in Oxfordshire at this moment in time.
However, between October 12 and October 14 the same production company is filming in Bath for new Hollywood Movie ‘Wonka’.
‘Wonka’ is a new feature film about Roald Dahl’s renowned chocolatier – it is a prequel to Charlies and the Chocolate Factory.
The film will be directed by Paul King, who also directed the Paddington Films.
‘Wonka’ will star Timothee Chalamet, as well as British film royalty Rowan Atkinson, Sally Hawkins and Olivia Colman.
It is set to premier in 2023.
A statement on South Oxfordshire District Council’s Twitter page said: “Please be aware that Culham lock car park will be closed from 7am on October first until 8pm on October 5, while filming takes place in the local area.”
