ADAM BELL, 36, of Bramble Bank, Witney, pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon – a pole – damaging a Citroen Picasso car, and was found guilty of assaulting a man by beating him at a Shell petrol station in Witney. He was bailed to attend Oxford Crown Court for sentence on October 21.
ANNA GREGAN, 18, of Hillsborough Close, Oxford, admitted possession of a kitchen knife at Oxford Railway Station on June 25, 2020. She was given a 12 month community order with 60 hours of unpaid work and up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days. The court ordered she pay £195 in costs and surcharge. The knife was forfeit.
SIMON CURRY, 37, of Azalea Drive, Bridgewater, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Abingdon police station in April. He was banned from driving for three years and must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work as part of a two year community order. He was told to pay £300 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £95 victim surcharge.
JANET MILLIKIN, 65, of Ock Street, Abingdon, admitted flashing her breasts and disrupting traffic on Ashfields Lane and the A338 at East Hanney on September 17 in breach of a criminal behaviour order. She was fined £50 and told to pay £34 victim surcharge, both of which were deemed paid by time served in custody.
DOMINIC WALLS, 28, of Skene Close, Oxford, was given an 18 month community order with a drug rehabilitation and mental health treatment programme after he admitted possession of two large kitchen knives and a smaller knife in Ferry Road, Oxford, on January 12, 2021. He must pay a £95 victim surcharge and the knives were ruled forfeit.
LUKE O’SHEA, 31, of Sherwood Avenue, Abingdon, was fined £75 after he admitted breaching post-sentence supervision by failing to attend probation appointments in July and August.
GARY MCFARLANE, 29, of Perth Road, Bicester, admitted breaching a community order by failing to attend probation appointments. Magistrates marked the breach by adding six months to his alcohol rehabilitation programme.
PATRICK WHEARTY, 53, of Green Close, Benson, was fined £75 and must pay £60 costs for failing to attend unpaid work. He admitted breaching the terms of his community order.
LEON ETCHELLS, 27, of Lerwick Croft, Bicester, admitted breaching his community order by failing to attend telephone appointments with probation. He was fined £100 and must pay £60 costs.
BEN WEBBER, 40, of Cowley Road, Oxford, had three months added to his alcohol treatment order after he admitted failing to attend appointments with probation and the court.
AARON ANDREWS, 31, of Aldiss Drive, Kingston Bagpuize, was found to have failed to identify the driver of a Vauxhall Zafira suspected of speeding in Berkshire. He was given six penalty points, fined £660 and ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.
KERYN CLARKE, 53, of North Way, Headington, admitted doing 68mph on the A41 at Bicester – a road with a 40mph limit. She was fined £700, given six points and must pay £160 in costs and surcharge.
MARION-ION CONAC, 35, of Bens Close, Marston, was fined £220, given six points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge after he was found to have driven on Morrell Avenue, Oxford, while using his mobile phone.
SIMON DAVIES, 51, of Bennett Road, Leeds, was fined £40 and given three penalty points for speeding on the M40 at Great Milton. He was caught doing 81mph. The magistrates ordered he pay £84 in costs and surcharge.
CARINE FOSTER, 44, of Woodhall Drive, Banbury, admitted speeding on the A34 at Wytham. She was caught doing 70mph on the road, which has a 50mph limit. She was fined £66, given three penalty points and must pay a £34 victim surcharge.
ADRIEL GEORGE, 24, of Marsh Lane, Oxford, admitted speeding on the M40 southbound at Great Haseley. He was given five penalty points, fined £80 and must pay £124 in costs and surcharge.
LISA ANGUS, 32, of George Street, Bicester, was found to have failed to identify the driver of a VW suspected of having committed a traffic offence. She was fined £660, banned from the roads for six months due to reoffending and ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.
ANDREW DENMARK, 27, of Main Road, Long Hanborough, admitted speeding on Woodstock Road, Yarnton. He was caught doing 60mph on the 50 limit road. He was fined £100, given three penalty points and told to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.
MOHAMED GILGIL, 19, of Cavell Road, London, admitted reversing his car to hit his male victim in what magistrates recorded was an unprovoked attack on a member of the public. He then kicked him whilst the man was on the ground. He was given 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year after he pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He must pay £500 compensation and carry out 150 hours of unpaid work. Gilgil was also ordered to pay £213 in costs and surcharge.
MANSOUR CHASEBI, 63, of Weldon Road, Oxford, was found guilty of drink driving a Peugeot 2008 on Weldon Road, Oxford, last October. He was banned from driving for 26 months, fined £250 and ordered to pay £334 in costs and surcharge.
JAMES HENDRY, 22, of Pepper Alley, Banbury, pleaded guilty to outraging public decency by exposing his genitals at Oxford railway station on January 12. He was given a community order with up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and was ordered to take part in a sex offender programme. He must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.
LAURIE WHEELER, 60, of Bartlemas Close, Oxford, was fined £392, given six points and ordered to pay £189 in costs and surcharge after he pleaded guilty to driving an uninsured car on Church Cowley Road, Oxford, on September 6 last year.
CHARLIE AKERS, 23, of Cherry Close, Kidlington, was fined £380 for doing 70mph on the A41 at Bicester. He admitted speeding and was given six penalty points and ordered to pay £128 in costs and surcharge.
HINKO ANTONOC, 41, of Broad Avenue, Bournemouth, was found to have been speeding on the A34 at Wytham. He was caught doing 63mph on the road, which has a 50mph limit. He was fined £220, given three penalty points and must pay £124 in costs and surcharge.
MARCUS ASHCROFT-JONES, 39, of Banbury Road, Oxford, was fined £220 and given three points on his licence after magistrates found he was speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught driving at 55mph – 15mph above the speed limit. He must pay £124 in costs and surcharge.
SARAH BAIRD, 36, of Mercury Close, Bampton, pleaded guilty to speeding on the A41 at Bicester. She was caught driving at 72mph. The magistrates fined her £300, imposed six points and ordered she pay £124 in costs and surcharge.
