A cyclist has died in a crash with an HGV-mounted crane.
The woman, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Headington this morning.
Appealing for witnesses to the accident to come forward, Sgt James Surman of Thames Valley Police’s roads policing unit said: “This is a tragic incident which has resulted in the death of a woman.

“I am appealing for anyone who has any information relating to the collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
"If you have any CCTV or dash-cam footage which you think could be relevant, please contact us as soon as possible.”
Police said the crash between the large lorry-mounted crane and the female cyclist happened at the junction of Headley Way and London Road at around 9.50am today.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed, police said.
