OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

MARK BUSBY, 51, of Heyford Leys, Upper Heyford, pleaded guilty to drink-driving a Range Rover in Banbury Road, Oxford, on February 29, 2020. A breathalyser test showed he had 41mcgs of alcohol in 100ml. The legal limit is 35mgs. He was fined £500, ordered to pay £825 in costs and surcharge and was banned from driving for a year.

SIMON EMMS-CLEMENTS, 48, of Portal Drive North, Upper Heyford, admitted making an indecent photograph of a child in category B and seven indecent photographs in category C. He was given a two-year community order with 80 hours of unpaid work and up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions. He must pay £180 in costs and surcharge and abide by a five-year sexual harm prevention order.

LYDIA HOLLOWAY, 38, of Orchard Way, Banbury, pleaded guilty to assaulting two police officers in Kidlington on November 18 last year. The magistrates imposed a 12-month community order with an eight week curfew and up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions. He must pay £400 in compensation and £180 in costs and surcharge.

JAMES JORDAN, 31, of Dacey Drive, Upper Heyford, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis. He was fined £300, banned from the roads for 20 months and ordered to pay £334 in costs and surcharge.

MARCUS DAWSON, 31, of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with the terms of his community order and suspended sentence order by not attending planned telephone appointments last December. The magistrates allowed the 10-week suspended sentence order to continue, but added 20 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions.

JAMIE BRACKETT, 44, of Masons Road, Headington, was fined £120 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge after he admitted failing to identify the driver of a car suspected of being guilty of a traffic offence.

QADEEP HUSSAIN, 25, of Long Ford Close, Oxford, was ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days after he was found guilty of racially-harassing a police officer in Oxford and assaulting the same officer by beating. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation.

PEMBA SHERPA, 33, of Avon Road, Abingdon, admitted driving a Jaguar in Reading while disqualified from driving and without insurance. He was given a community order with 178 hours of unpaid work, banned from driving for a year and must pay £135 in costs and surcharge.

WAYNE BENTLEY, 48, of Wyatt Road, Sutton Coldfield, was fined £84 after he admitted driving on the A34 at Wytham without wearing a seat belt. He must pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

CONNOR BLYTH, 19, of Linnet Square, Eastleigh, admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught at 68mph in the 40 zone. He was fined £250, given five points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

ANDREI BOGOS, 36, of Queens Road, Northampton, was caught driving at 84mph on the A34 at Hinksey. He admitted speeding on the 50mph limit road and was fined £500, given six points and ordered to pay £140 in costs and surcharge.

NICHOLAS BOWATER, 44, of Crowsley, Henley-on-Thames, admitted speeding on the B481. He was caught driving at 37mph. The magistrates fined him £66, gave him three points and ordered he pay a £34 victim surcharge.

STEVE CRABTREE, 58, of Sanderling Close, Bicester, admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught doing 66mph on the 40mph limit road. He was fined £400, given five points and must pay £130 in costs and surcharge.

KARL DEASEY, 29, of Edmunds Road, Banbury, admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught driving at 46mph – 6mph above the speed limit. He was fined £66, given three points on his licence and told to pay a £34 victim surcharge.

JED DENTON, 28, of Underhill Circus, Barton, was fined £660 and given six penalty points after the magistrates found proved an allegation he failed to identify a driver suspected of speeding on the A34 at Wytham. He must pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

EMAD FALLAHA, 31, of Rowan Close, Ambrosden, admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught driving at 68mph. The magistrates imposed five penalty points, fined him £359 and ordered he pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

MICHAEL GOAR, 58, of Pelham Street, London, was fined £66 and given three points after he admitted speeding on the B4009 at Lewknor. He must pay a £34 victim surcharge.

SCOTT JACKSON, 52, of Howe Close, Wheatley, admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught doing 67mph on the 40mph limit road. He was fined £250, given five points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

SHONA KAY, 28, of Heron Close, Carterton, was fined £660 after she was found to have been speeding on the A34 at Chieveley. She was caught doing 87mph on the road, which has a 70mph limit. The magistrates also found she’d been speeding on an A road in Newbury. In total, she was given seven penalty points and ordered to pay £258 in costs and surcharge.

MICHAEL MARTINEZ, 58, of Buckingham Road, Bicester, was fined £250, given five penalty points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge after he was clocked doing 70mph on the A41 at Bicester. He admitted speeding.

MICHAEL MCDONAGH, 41, of Cumnor Road, Farmoor, was fined £660 and given six points for failing to identify the driver of a car caught speeding on the A34. He must pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

NICHOLAS MCGOWAN, 46, of Beech Road, Oxford, was found to have been speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught doing 67mph. The magistrates fined him £660, imposed six points and ordered he pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

JAMES MUNDY, 33, of Lucerne Avenue, Bicester, was fined £250 and given five penalty points after he pleaded guilty to speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was clocked driving at 68mph. The magistrates ordered he pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

BEN MURPHY, 29, of Stratford Way, Bicester, admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught doing 68mph. He was fined £250, given five penalty points and was ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

BETHANY PEARCE, 21, of Oxleys, Milton Keynes, was fined £250 after she admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. She was caught doing 68mph. The magistrates imposed five points and ordered she pay £115 in costs and surcharge.

JORDAN RICHARDSON, 23, of Goodey Close, Oxford, admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester at 66mph. He was fined £250, given five points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.
