OXFORDSHIRE – is it part of the home counties or in the midlands?
That’s the question that has attracted plenty of talk on social media after TV vicar Richard Coles asked his followers on Twitter.
The tweet has now attracted hundreds of responses, with the county seemingly very much split on the matter.

After all, with Banbury at the tip of north Oxfordshire just 50 miles from Birmingham and then Henley almost touching Reading in the south of the county, Oxfordshire finds itself in a strange position.
