A MAN was stopped on the motorway in Oxfordshire for driving more than 100mph.
The Thames Valley Police roads policing team pulled the driver over on the M40, near Bicester this morning, after their speed gun recorded a speed of 105mph.

The man told the police that the reason why he was travelling so fast was because he was in a rush to get to the airport.
The officers reported the motorist for excess speed and issued a traffic offence report, which police said on Twitter 'slowed his journey down somewhat'.
The national speed limit for cars on the motorway is 70mph.
