A MAN is taking part in the Blenheim Triathlon to raise money for the hospice who cared for his father.
Jake Caudle, from Abingdon, will be taking part in the event on September 12 in order to raise money for Sobell House - a charity which provides palliative and end of life care to those with life-limiting illnesses.
Mr Caudle said: "The charity is very close to my heart. I lost my Dad, Jon Caudle, in May last year.

"Throughout his fight against cancer, the staff at Sobell House gave Dad and my family incredible care and support.
"Even with the COVID-19 pandemic making the care more difficult to give, Sobell House went above and beyond to make Dad as comfortable as possible.
"I will be forever grateful to them for all they have done to help my family."
Mr Caudle has currently raised £2,000 for Sobell House but hopes to raise more.
The hospice needs to raise £2 million every year to help fund care and support provided by the hospice.
Lorraine Pink, director of fundraising and communications at Sobell House, said: "It is thanks to our community and people like Jake that help make this happen.
"On behalf of everyone at Sobell House, we want to say thank you and good luck to Jake with his challenge on the 12th September."
