A MAN who has been missing for more than a month may have dementia, his family has said.
Derek Brant, 63, from Kidlington, was reported missing on July 23.
He was last seen near St Anne’s College, Woodstock Road at about 3pm on July 24.
Mr Brant’s family has joined with the charity, Missing People, to further the search.
His niece Sadie said: “Derek has been missing for over a month. He had been to the hospital recently for appointments regarding his memory, so he possibly has dementia and could be confused.
“He walked a lot of miles in Oxfordshire, including Kidlington to Summertown for work.
“We have done so much sharing on social media and searching.
“Please check your dashcams, video doorbells and any empty properties such as barns and sheds.
“Any clues to where Derek may have been over the last few months could be incredibly important.”
Mr Brant was last seen wearing a navy/black polo shirt and black cargo trousers, and fluorescent yellow jacket with the St Anne’s logo.
Missing People’s publicity officer, Jemima Compton, said: “Derek, if you are reading this, please call or text us on 116 000. It’s free and confidential and we can’t trace your call. We just want to provide you with the support you need and help you to be safe.”
If you think you have seen Mr Brant, please call police on 101, quoting reference 43210328398 or Missing People by calling or texting 116 000.
