A woman whose body was pulled from a Yarnton lake has been identified after a police appeal.
She was found in Cresswell Lake, near Yarnton, on August 16. Detectives are treating her death as unexplained.
Police issued CCTV images of her, as they had been unable to identify the woman.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said she had now been identified after members of the public came forward with information.
“At this time, we are not in a position to publicly release her name or any other details about her as we are in the process of informing her next of kin,” a spokesman said.
“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal, and who has come forward with information in recent days.”
Police were called to Cresswell Lake at around 8.30pm on August 16. A post-mortem conducted last week was unable to establish the cause of her death.
