Foodies Festival Oxford is returning to South Park for the Bank Holiday weekend - August 28-30 - after being called off last year due to the pandemic.

The event is expected to attract thousands of visitors over three days.

The last foodies festival took place in 2019 and organisers say this year will be the biggest celebration yet of top chefs, tasty food, delicious drinks and live music, with headliners Scouting for Girls and Toploader.

Tickets are on sale and the line-up includes MasterChef: The Professionals Champion 2020 Alex Webb, MasterChef Finalist 2021 Laura Michael, Michelin Starred Chef Patron Mike North at Nut Tree Inn, MasterChef Finalist 2020 Sandy Tang and Nick Galer at The Miller with many more to be announced.

The website foodiesfestival.com says: "Oxford Council and Foodies Festival are monitoring the coronavirus outbreak closely and we will continue to follow the advice provided by the World Health Organisation, the Government and Public Health England to ensure the safety of our visitors, exhibitors and staff.
