A pair of teen robbers were ordered to ‘grow up’ ahead of their expected sentencing next year.

Harry Sullivan and Omar Elouahabi, both 19, admitted robbing three men and attempting to rob another at Oxfordshire beauty spot Chinnor Quarry on May 18 last year.

The teenagers stole Nike trainers, a watch, chain, mobile phone, backpacks and bike tools from their victims.

Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday afternoon, Elouahabi, of Station Approach, South Ruislip, and Harry Sullivan, of Bessingby Road, Ruislip, pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery and one attempted robbery.

Sullivan, who entered his guilty pleas on a basis that has not been accepted by the Crown Prosecution Service, also admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis between September 2019 and May 2020. He denied possession of cannabis and fake £50 notes.

Bailing the men to return to court next year following a co-accused’s trial, Recorder John Hardy QC urged them to ‘put their lives on the right track’.

“What I’m saying is get a job, work hard, volunteer, do things differently to roaming the streets looking en passant for victims to rob of their possessions,” the judge said.

“Do as much as you can to show that these offences are the result of being silly, stupid, foolish, reckless youths and come back to court as grown ups.”
