THERE are 336 new Covid-19 cases registered in Oxfordshire in the last 24 hours according to the latest Government figures.
The rate of infection in Oxfordshire as of 4pm on Wednesday stands at 254 cases per 100,000 people, lower than the average of 296.
There have been 3 deaths across the county in the week between July 31 and August 6.

These are the latest cases separated by local authority:
- Oxford – 69
- South Oxfordshire – 76
- Cherwell – 80
- West Oxfordshire – 48
- Vale of White Horse – 63
The total number of coronavirus cases since the pandemic started are:
- Oxford – 14,501
- Oxfordshire – 50,159
The UK has recorded a further 111 Covid-related deaths and 33,904 new cases, according to Government data.

Cases identified through a positive lateral flow test – those which can deliver results within half an hour – will no longer be counted if the person then takes a PCR test, which is sent to a lab to be checked, and receives a negative result within three days.
Across the UK 89.6 per cent of people have received their first jab, and 77.5 per cent have received their second dose of the Covid vaccine.
