Following a short, successful spell as a pop-up in Clarendon Centre, The Crafter’s Emporium is set to launch its new store in Oxford High Street this week.
Home to more than 100 independent crafters and artisans, it hopes to bring back crowds to shop and support local businesses, after a tough 18 months in lockdown.
With four shops opening in quick succession, the Oxford city centre shop is a dream come true for co-owners Natasha Martell and Lindsay Smith.
Mrs. Martell said: “It has been a goal of ours for a long time. There has been a lot of local interest in what we offer, and we found we were often asked to set up shops in different areas.
"To move into permanent premises in an area as central as Oxford High Street feels incredible.
“Our eco refills have proven popular across all of our shops. Our community is really committed to reducing plastic waste and we’re glad to support this. We will be looking to increase our already broad range of eco-friendly products in response to customer demand.”
The Crafters’ Emporium in Oxford will open doors to customers from 10am on 20 August.
