The Oxford New Theatre has teased audiences for its reopening with an incredible behind the scenes video.
The video provides a sneak-peak look behind the scenes of the theatre on George Street, from its box office and dressing rooms to its backstage area.
Made using drones from CineCloud, the video uses aerial cinematography to create a fully immersive video experience inside the theatre.
The theatre will reopen on August 23 with Priscilla Queen of the Desert, which is the first show to be staged at the venue since is closed in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With just 11 days to go until the curtain rises once more, the theatre is eager to get audiences excited about being back.
Posting on Facebook, the theatre wrote: “Please take your seats, the performance is about to begin.”
The Oxford New Theatre has been closed for 525 days since the pandemic began in 2020.
