A warehouseman whose body was pulled from the River Cherwell last month has been named.
Jorge Martin Carreno’s body was discovered near the Parsons Pleasure bathing spot on July 26, Oxford Coroners’ Court heard.
The 30-year-old’s cause of death remains under investigation pending further analysis.

Opening the inquest this afternoon, senior coroner for Oxfordshire Darren Salter noted that Mr Carreno had been a single man, living in Wilkins Road, Oxford, and working as a warehouse operator when he died. He was born in July 1991 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
A full inquest will take place on February 24.
Thames Valley Police is treating Mr Carreno’s death as unexplained but not suspicious. Officers released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have seen him before he died.
Det Con Dan Hayward said: “I’d also appeal to anyone who has any information they think may be useful to please get in touch using the methods above.”
