OXFORDSHIRE'S new Lidl welcomed customers for the first time this morning.
The supermarket at Castle Quay Waterfront in Banbury opened at 8am.
Customers browsed the squeaky clean store with shelves fully stocked with food, drink and handy gadgets in Lidl's popular middle aisle.

The shop also has a bakery with lots of freshly made pastries, bread and cookies.

The store opening times are 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
