A SCHOOL museum has received a grant to create a display of African artefacts.
The Rumble Museum at Cheney School in Headington received the money from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
In December, the school museum received a collection of artefacts, including a Ugandan drum, flutes and a large Ethiopian painting.
These artefacts will now be put into displays in the coming months, with the help of Mark Samuels, founder of the African School, based at Blackbird Leys Community Centre.
Mr Samuels will work with students to produce an information booklet, including traditional poems, and a series of videos about the artefacts.
