The ambulance service has said that it remains under 'great pressure' as Covid cases across the county remain high.
South Central Ambulance Service [SCAS] said, writing on its Twitter page: "SCAS remains under great pressure and we continue to seek the support of everyone to help us manage through this challenging period.
"We are handling a large number of calls to our 111 service which could potentially go through111.nhs.uk and urge people who are seeking medical advice for issues which are not immediately life-threatening to make use of this site wherever possible so people can access guidance to the most appropriate service promptly."
The announcement comes as Covid cases across the county are continuing to rise.
