THOUSANDS of homes are being built in Oxfordshire over the next decade.
Huge developments are popping up across the county in order to meet the demand for housing.

Here's a list of the six biggest new-build estates currently under construction in Oxfordshire:
1. Great Western Park, Didcot - 3,300 homes
This site will have up to 3,300 homes once completed and is being delivered by multiple housebuilders. A range of different homes are being built and a two-bedroom apartment is priced by Taylor Wimpey at £238,000.
2. Kingsmere, Bicester - 2,450 homes
This site will deliver two to five-bedroom detached, semi-detached, townhouse and terrace homes. Multiple housebuilders are building the homes which are priced from £310,000.

3. Graven Hill, Bicester - 1,900 homes
Graven Hill is a custom and self-build site. Homes range from two to six-bedrooms and according to Rightmove, the average price for a property was £253,564 over the last year.
4. Heyford Park, near Bicester - 1,600 homes
This development will offer two to five-bedroom homes starting from £275,000.
5. Windrush Place, Witney - Up to 1,000 homes
This site will have two to five-bedrom homes starting from £182,995.
6. Barton Park, Oxford - Up to 885 homes

Of the 885 homes, 354 will be let at social rent. There will be a mix of family, detached, semi-detached and terraced houses, as well as apartments. Prices for a three-bed house start at £594,995.
