A CYCLIST on an electric bike sustained serious injuries and died after colliding with a metal pole while cycling on Old Road in Oxford.
At around 7.30pm on Tuesday the cyclist was involved in a collision near to the junction with Lime Walk.

The cyclist, a man in his thirties, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and and died in hospital yesterday; however, police have said there is no evidence to suggest another vehicle was involved in the incident.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses with dash cam footage to report any information by contacting 101, quoting reference number 43210287057.
