The research revealed that in Oxford, the hottest day on average is July 25 where the average temperature is 29.6 degrees.

The team looked at 23 locations across all regions of the UK, including London, Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh and found generally the warmest day is July 25, while the coolest day is July 28.
Oxford has the highest average temperature in the south east followed by Cambridge, which has an average temperature of 26.4 on July 22.
Richard Petrie, spokesperson for Thomas Sanderson, said: “We found it surprising to see average temperatures across the UK differ so much year on year. It might be a good idea to keep hold of an umbrella as we all know, the UK weather can be very unpredictable."
