POLICE and paramedics at the scene of an incident on the M4 in the early hours of this morning urged drivers to avoid the area.
The motorway shut in both directions between Junction 6 and 5 Eastbound just after 5am.

Drivers faced long delays and were told to seek an alternative route.
TVP Roads Policing confirmed that the M4 has now reopened and that the incident has been safely resolved and nobody was injured.
