OXFORDSHIRE'S Covid-19 cases have more that tripled in just 24 hours as nationally cases climbed to the highest level since early March.
Official figures show that as of 4pm on Monday a total of 74 new coronavirus cases were registered in the county.
These come to 32 more than those recorded on Monday last week.

The total number of coronavirus deaths since the pandemic started are:
Oxford – 9,844
Oxfordshire – 34,858
The UK has recorded a further three Covid-related deaths and 7,742 new cases with 187 patients admitted to hospital, Public Health England confirmed.
The health body recently changed the way it records the figures.
Cases identified through a positive lateral flow test – those which can deliver results within half an hour – will no longer be counted if the person then takes a PCR test, which is sent to a lab to be checked, and receives a negative result within three days.
The latest data shows that the NHS reached an important milestone as more than 79.2 per cent of the population has received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 56.9 per cent of adults have received their second jab.
