A licensing application to run the Oxford Balloon Fiesta this year is just one of the public notices issued by local councils this week.
Oxford Balloon Fiesta Show Time Events Group Ltd has applied for a licence to stage the Oxford Balloon Fiesta 2021 at Cutteslowe Park, north Oxford.
The event is planned for Friday, August 20 from 11:00-22:30, Saturday August 21 11:00-22:30 and Sunday August 22 from 11:00-21:30.

The licence application is to cover bars, live music, recorded, performance of dance.
Organisers describe it as "A fun-filled weekend of live entertainment, Hot Air Balloons, Giant Funfair, Fireworks, Food and Drink, Local Traders and much more!"
Full details of the application can be inspected on the licensing register during normal business hours at the address given below.
Responsible authorities and interested parties (people living or working in the vicinity of the premises named above) wishing to make a representation about the application should do so in writing, stating the licensing objectives upon which the representation is based.

Any representation must be received within 28 days of the date of the application (by June 27) at: The licensing Authority, Oxford City Council, St Aldates Chamber 109 St Aldates St, Oxford OX1 1DS. Copies may be made available on request.
