East Oxford has become a hotspot for flytipping according to one resident, who spotted bags of rubbish (pictured above) abandoned underneath a mural of Sir David Attenborough.
The mural was painted by local artist Andrew Mani Manson last year, in honour of the Cowley Road Carnival.
It sits on the side of East Oxford Games Hall and it is designed to honour the Cowley Road Carnival and its theme of ‘Mother Nature’.
But rubbish bags spotted outside the games hall, suspected to be flytipping, have disappointed one resident.
The resident, who did not wish to be named, said: "There are many ‘grot spots’ around the area that are becoming increasingly attractive to people who don’t want to dispose of waste properly.
"Some are local businesses, neighbours, students or just opportunists."
