Four robbers, possibly carrying knives, threatened a couple in Oxford and stole a bicycle, two mobile phones, an iPod and £30 cash.
Police today appealed for witnesses following the robbery in Headington about 5.30pm on Friday.
The victims, a man and woman, were walking home and when they reached the alleyway that runs between Grays Road and Valentia Road and were confronted by four men.
The men threatened them and demanded they hand over their belongings, said police.
They stole a white Raleigh bicycle, two mobile phones, an iPod and about £30 in cash before walking off down the alleyway towards Grays Road.
Investigating officer Dc Felicity Parker said: "Two of the men could have been carrying knives. I hope there were plenty of people around who may have seen these men in the area.
"Just before the robbery they were standing near to the metal railings in Valentia Road and I would ask that anyone who may have seen them or have any information to get in touch."
