Glyn Limmer makes two valid points about plans for Pinsley Wood in Long Hanborough, Disneyland in our wood (Oxford Mail, December 13).
They are that most organisations have been silent about Treejumpers' plan to despoil the wood, and the silence of our local MP, David Cameron, implies he does not wish to get involved. If this is so, I find it most surprising.
We are, after all, dealing with a very large wood, so ancient as to be among the few mentioned in the Domesday Book, a cause worthy of any intervention.
With a population of about 3,000, plus Hanborough residents, angry at the possible vandalism of this wood, his Parliamentary majority could be severely reduced, especially if the Lib Dems could be persuaded not to stand.
