A MAN from Oxford, who organised a party at a Tesco petrol station during lockdown, has been fined thousands of pounds.
Tommy Holmes, who lives at Saunders Road, was ordered to pay £2,026 for an indoors gathering he organised at the supermarket branch at Oxford Retail Park back in November.

The 20-year-old appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court in May on charges detailing a gathering of more than two people at the petrol station.
He was fined £1,760 for the lockdown breach, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £176 plus court costs of £90.
At the time, the country was in its second national lockdown.
