A DOG that was stolen from a Sainsbury’s car park may have been spotted in Oxford.
Roly the springer spaniel was taken from his owner’s van at the supermarket’s Kidderminster branch, in Worcestershire, on May 15.
After contacting the police about the incident, the owners found that the thieves’ car had been spotted the day before in the Thames Valley Police area.
The same car was then spotted once again on May 16 in the ‘Oxford area’, with false number plates on.
Roly is a male springer spaniel, of liver and white colour.

This weekend, however, an individual believed he saw Roly, who also responds to ‘Rolo’, when he was walking his own dog in Oxford.
The dog - that looked like Roly - was seen on its own, and the man said no one appeared to be with it.
The man who spotted the dog is not on social media, and so only saw that Roly was missing the next day in this newspaper.
DogLost UK are now arranging for posters to be placed around the area he was spotted in.
The man said he would try to catch the dog again if he sees him, and take him to the nearest police station. There have been no other sightings or developments.
