SEVEN protesters turned up at the Campsfield House immigration detention centre on Saturday for the first demonstration at the gates since a riot by inmates earlier this month.
Liz Peretz, of the Campaign to Close Campsfield, said: "If only one person turned up it would be important. These vigils let the people inside Campsfield know their plight is not forgotten and that there are people on the outside still fighting for the rights of the detainees."
