Photographs which captured beams of sunlight, orange glows from sunsets and abstract city lights were all sent in for this week’s Oxford Mail Camera Club competition.
This week’s theme was ‘light’, and one artistic snap - among the many worthy entrants - really caught our eye.
This week’s winner is Ian Marriott, who presented us with a smorgasbord of colour within his long-exposure photo of Oxford's city lights at night.
The image captures the movement of a double decker bus in the city as it whizzes through the traffic lights.

The image depicts the buzz of city life with its bright colours and fast-paced feel.
The Oxford Mail Camera Club competition runs every week, and regularly unearths talented local photographers.
The Camera Club Facebook page now has more than 1,700 members all contributing their photography.
Next week’s competition theme is ‘water’.
Post your water themed snaps to the Oxford Mail Camera Club Facebook page to enter the competition and your picture could feature in next week's edition of the Oxford Mail.
Happy snapping!
