AN Oxfordshire village is buzzing with excitement amid rumours Take That star Gary Barlow has bought a house nearby.
The singer is believed to have bought a property in the tiny West Oxfordshire village of Alvescot, near Carterton.
The multi-millionaire father-of-two is reported to have been drinking in the village's only pub, The Plough.
However, pub staff refused to comment when contacted by the Oxford Mail .
The news follows rumours that fellow pop star Kylie Minogue was also planning to move to the county.
Residents in Upton, near Didcot, have been talking of little else since it emerged the Australian pop star was looking for a property in the village last month.
The former Neighbours star singer denied the rumours, but residents claimed she had been spotted in the village pub, The George & Dragon.
Others said she had already bought Upton Lodge as it was an ideal location for horseriding in nearby Blewbury.
