A £30m cash pot has been made available to make Oxfordshire and the South East a more eco-friendly place to live.

Councils, not-for-profit organisations and public and private bidders have been encouraged to apply for a share of the funding, which has been made available by the European Commission and South East England Development Agency.

Projects will start to be approved by March.

The money has been raised to help finance projects reducing the region's ecological footprint.
