House prices in Oxford showed some of the biggest rises in the country this year, according to experts.
Latest figures released by Nationwide, Britain's biggest building society, showed house prices in Oxford rose 13 per cent in the year.
And with an average-priced house costing £339,404 that meant a daily increase of £110 per property.
Oxford was ranked fourth in the survey after Belfast, Aberdeen and London - just beating neighbouring Reading and St Albans.
