PERMISSION has been granted for police to detain a ‘significant’ amount of cash which was found by officers who raided a house.
The raids took place at an address in Evenlode, Banbury on Wednesday where cocaine and cash was seized.

Two men aged 31 and 21 and two women aged 38 and 23 were arrested for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
On Friday, a successful Proceeds of Crime Act application was made by Thames Valley Police to Oxford Magistrates Court to detain for three months the cash that was seized.
Cash seizure, detention and forfeiture is a civil procedure and does not require the suspect to be charged or convicted.
