AN ANTI-RACISM group from Oxford has reacted to the news that black equal rights activist, Sasha Johnson, was shot in the head yesterday.
The Oxford University graduate, and mother of three, is currently in critical condition in hospital.
Officials from the Taking The Initiative Party (TTIP), an economic and political group she works for, said the shooting happened in the early hours of Sunday and followed 'numerous death threats'.

An anti-racism group, from Oxford, has reacted to the news.
Oxford Stand Up to Racism said: "It is with shock and great sadness that we receive the news that the well-known anti-racist activist Sasha Johnson was shot in the head and critically wounded last night.
"Sasha came to prominence as a leading figure in the Oxford Black Lives Matter protests that erupted after the murder of George Floyd, and is known for her passion in the fight for justice for people facing racism.
"Our thoughts are with Sasha and her family, and we hope she makes a full and speedy recovery."
