Taster day for women firefighters
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service is offering a taster day for women, encouraging more women to join them as firefighters.
It tweeted: "Being a firefighter is a role that women generally do not consider.
Have you ever thought I’d really like to do that but I’m not sure I could? Or I would really like to serve my local community?"
The taster day is on Saturday July 3 at Didcot Fire Station from 9am to 3pm.
