THE Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has launched an investigation after an Oxford woman was killed in a car crash.
Myra McKendrick, 29, of Nixon Road, died after a head-on collision on the A421 at Finmere, at about 10am on Sunday.
Northamptonshire Police, which dealt with the crash, has referred the incident to the IPCC due to concerns about communication between themselves and the ambulance service.
It is understood ambulance crews were at the same spot for a minor accident an hour before the crash.
