POLICE are appealing for information following an assault outside the male toilets in the Arbery pub in Market Place, Wantage.
A man was approached by three other men and assaulted. The man was pushed to the floor and kicked. He was later taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with bruising and cuts.
The assault happened at 10.30pm last Friday but details were only released this afternoon.
PC Richard Josey said: "There were other people in the area at the time including those in and around the pub.
"We are still investigating exactly what happened in this incident and I would ask that anyone who witnessed this assault to get in touch."
