FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a kitten from a roof.
It comes after crews were called to free a duckling that was trapped in a drain.
The Green Watch teams from Banbury acted as the baby animal's rescuers when they climbed onto the roof of a house in the area yesterday afternoon.
Writing on Facebook, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said: "Although it’s a bit of a cliche, we don’t do many cat rescues believe it or not (it’s the number 1 question we get asked about though) as the RSPCA are the ones that do most of the rescues but we help where we can!"
