POLLING stations have opened for people across Oxfordshire to cast their ballots.
The election could shake up local politics as we know it.
But amid the uncertainty, the best thing to come out of election day is arguably the pictures of dogs at polling stations on social media.
Nobody quite knows why the tradition started but after the 2016 Brexit referendum pet owners have shared snaps of their canines on social media using the hashtag #Dogsatpollingstations
