Vue cinema has announced it will be reopening in Oxford and tickets are now available to pre-book.
Film fans can finally enjoy uninterrupted entertainment on the big screen as Vue cinema will be reopening on May 17, when restrictions are due to ease across the country.
From well-loved classics to a selection of theatre and sport screenings, and an epic line-up of hotly anticipated new releases the cinema has plenty on offer for all film lovers from opening day.
Children and adults alike can look forward to the tale of Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway.
For those in need of something more thrilling, there is a frightening film for all with disturbing terrors and creatures in A Quiet Place Part II. Later in June, Anthony Hopkins’ second and record-breaking Oscar-winning performance in The Father will be available on the big screen.

Hollywood blockbusters such as No Time to Die, Top Gun: Maverick, Minions: The Rise of Gru and Fast & Furious 9 will also be appearing on the big screen in the next 18 months.
Football fans will be thrilled to know that both the Champions League and Europa League finals will be screening at select venues in partnership with BT sport, as well as the long-awaited documentary on football’s greatest ever manager, Alex Ferguson, in Sir Alex: Never Give In.
