A BEAUTIFUL Oxford University bedroom has gone viral on Twitter.
Ellie Redpath shared four pictures of her room with twinkly lights and historic bay windows on social media, saying: “One last term in the Oxford bedroom of dreams.”
The post has been liked more than 22,000 times.
Hundreds of people have commented saying the room is ‘magical’.
One user, called Michal, asked if the photos were ‘actually real’.
Nick Swarbrick said: “I always wanted that room as an undergraduate.”
Ms Redpath replied: “Ah were you at [Magdalen College]? Yes I am very lucky. It’s literally at the top of Smith’s tower.”
Kaci Peringer said that rooms at the same college ‘ruined her expectations of bedrooms for life’, adding: “I had two great rooms: One like yours at Swithuns, and one in Grove on the ground floor where deer hung outside my window every morning.”
Others, however, said their student bedrooms at Oxford University were not as pretty and the experience wasn’t the same.
Rosie said: “This...is not what my bedroom looked like.”
Heather Ryan added: “Same. I was at Hilda’s, in a mix of 60s horror and underwhelming Victorian.”
Bunk’s Mam also added: “My daughter went to St Annes, she had a box room with the curtain hanging off the rail. A bit of a shocker for our first impression of Oxford.”
