A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was struck by a car on Cumnor Hill this morning.
The teenager, who is understood to be a Matthew Arnold School Pupil, has a 'potentially serious' head injury.
The incident happened at 9.10am this morning and emergency services were called to the scene.
Police officers closed the road in both directions from Arnolds Way to Cumnor Rise Road.
South Central Ambulance Service sent a paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle, the Thames Valley Air Ambulance critical care response vehicle and two ambulances to the scene.
The boy was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for further treatment and assessment and the driver of the car was treated for shock at the scene.
