A missing man’s vehicle has been located near Oxfordshire at Compton in West Berkshire after ongoing police investigations.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to trace the missing 29-year-old man, Doug Carroll, from Tunbridge Well, Kent, who was last seen on Tuesday.
He is described as 6ft 3ins tall, of slim build with brown hair and brown eyes.
He is believed to have last been seen wearing dark jogging trousers or shorts and a hooded jumper.
He was reported missing in Kent and it was thought he may have travelled to the Reading area in Berkshire where his car has been located.
Investigating officer Sergeant Stuart McMaster, based at Abingdon police station, said: “Mr Carroll was originally reported missing from the Tunbridge Wells area of Kent, but his car has been located in West Berkshire.
“We are extremely concerned for his welfare and want to make sure that he is well.
“I am urging anybody who believes that they have seen Mr Carroll to call the police immediately on 999, quoting reference number 43210168920.”
