Oxfordshire actor Jonathan Bailey will have the starring role in the next series of raunchy Netflix hit Bridgerton.
Mr Bailey, 32, plays eldest Bridgerton sibling, Viscount Anthony, whose love life will be the main story following the departure of breakout star Rege-Jean Page.

The show, which was the most streamed on Netflix of all time, has recently been renewed for a third and fourth series.

Mr Bailey, 32, was born in Wallingford and grew up in Benson. He attended a dance club in Henley while a pupil at Benson C of E Primary School.
He completed his A-levels at Magdalen College School in Oxford before taking a degree through the Open University.
He is best known for starring in Broadchurch, Crashing, Chewing Gum and W1A.
He said of the show, which is known for its colour-blind casting: “Bridgerton is actually delivering on changing the bar, and the standard, of representation. Because of that, I’ve had amazing messages from people who have been able to talk about their sexuality, or people who have seen themselves or their children in the Duke of Hastings [storyline].”
