A DVLA text scam is currently circulating in the UK.
Consumer website Which? warned that the scam text message claiming to be from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency tells car owners that their vehicle tax has expired.
The message says: DVLA Final Notice: We have been trying to contact you.

"Your vehicle tax has expired."
It then provides a link where people can renew it.
It is linked to a genuine URL, but in reality, it is a slick phishing website designed to steal users' personal and financial details.
