Christmas came early for two lucky Oxford Mail readers this week after they won our festive competition.
The Mail teamed up with Currys, in Botley Road, to give readers the chance to win either a Samsung American Fridge Freezer or a Samsung HD ready TV - both worth £700 - in time for Christmas.
Readers had 13 days to collect special coupons in the paper as part of our Christmas Cash competition, with those collecting the most cash winning the prizes.
And the two winners, Kathleen Bye, of Croft Road, Marston, who collected £7,415 and Tony Potter, of Bramble Bank, Witney, who collected £10,995, were both delighted with their prizes. Mrs Bye's prize was collected by her daughter and grand-daughter Tracey and Cyra.
Mr Potter, 37, of Bramble Bank, Witney, who collected the fridge with his girlfriend Christine Pritchett, said he had been buying as many as 50 papers a day to try to win the fridge freezer.
"My girlfriend thought I was mad buying so many copies of the Oxford Mail. I must have spent about £190 buying them - I was literally cleaning the shops out.
"I've wanted one of these for ages, but there was no way I could ever afford it.
"It has really made my Christmas - now I just need to fill it up."
Mrs Bye, who won the TV, said she was so pleased when she found out she had won.
She said: "I'm looking forward to lying back in my chair, with my feet up enjoying a glass of sherry while I watch my brand new TV on Christmas Day.
"I definitely won't be letting my children or grandchildren get their hands on the remote."
She added: "The Oxford Mail has certainly made my Christmas this year."
Sheryl Crouch, of Mail publishers Newsquest Oxfordshire, said: "We had hundreds of people enter. It's a fantastic promotion that we have been able to offer readers, in partnership with Currys, and I'm so pleased that the lucky winners will get to enjoy their prizes in time for Christmas."
