Scrap metal thieves have stolen lead and copper cable from a building site in Kidlington.
They broke into the site, in Blenheim Road, early yesterday, using bolt cutters and took 160kg of lead and 75m of cable.
They also stole a wheelie bin, which police believe was used to move the metal.
Pc Philip Lees, of Kidlington police, said: "I am keen to hear from anyone who was near Blenheim Road and saw anything suspicious, particularly if anyone was seen pushing a wheelie bin in this area."
Anyone with information should call Pc Lees on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
