New parking prices will see city centre charges rise to almost £6 to park for under an hour.
A sign in Oxford city centre warns drivers that from April 1, Oxfordshire County Council will be increasing parking tariffs to £5.70 for up to one hour and £8.90 for up to two hours.

The parking charges will be increasing by more than £1 as current charges for Oxford city centre are £4.60 for up to an hour.
In comparison on-street parking charges in other areas of the county in Abingdon and Henley are currently 60p for up to one hour and £1 for up to two hours.
